This guide explains how your Kindling Blocks plugin license works and how updates are delivered to your site. The goal is to help you understand how licensing, updates, and support function on your website.
What Your License Does
Your Kindling Blocks license gives you access to:
- Plugin updates
- Performance improvements
- Bug fixes
- New features
- Compatibility updates for future WordPress and PHP versions
A valid license ensures your site stays secure, stable, and up to date.
Where to Enter Your License Key
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Kindling Blocks → Licensing.
- Enter your license key in the Activate License field.
- Click Activate.
Once activated, your site will be able to download updates for the plugin.
How Updates Work
When a new version of the Kindling Blocks plugin is released:
- Your site checks for the update automatically.
- If your license is active, the update can be installed normally from the Plugins page.
- If your license is not active, you will still see the update notice, but WordPress will not allow the update to be installed until your license is activated.
What Happens If Your License Expires
If your license expires:
- Your site continues to function normally.
- You will NOT lose any blocks or features already installed.
- You will NOT be able to install new updates until the license is renewed.
Renewing your license immediately restores access to updates.
How Many Sites Your License Covers
Each license is valid for one production website.
Staging or development environments do not count toward your license limit.
If you are running multiple live websites, each site will need its own license.
